Peacock feather makeup

I had this vision of a giant peacock feather on the side of my face while I was taking a shower after GRIT. I'm really into this "dramatic makeup on one side of the face" thing. I don't know why that's my recent obsession...but it is. Haha

I made the eyelashes by cutting the side of a peacock feather and individually placing each one on with eyelash glue. Then I added "liner" of black crystals.
It was time consuming...but I am obsessed with this peacock feather lashes. This is the third time that I have made them, but this is the first time that I have made them for myself!
 Finished product

I'm kind of obsessed with how they turned out! But I knew I would be because I have done them before.

The lips are Lime Crime Carousel glosses in Loop-de-loop, Hollygram, and Golden Ticket. I'm basically in love with Lime Crime. Their colors are fantastic and their pigmentation is to-die-for!!!

Overall, I like the way it turned out...but it looks crazy in some pictures. Haha. Oh, well.

Summer look using Lancome's summer colors

This is a fun summer look using Lancome's new summer color collection. I always buy their color collections because they're so gorgeous! I'm also just pretty obsessed with Lancome...

Obviously, start with a naked eyelid!!!

I added Nyx's jumbo pencil in Milk as a base over the whole eyelid.

The color I applied first is Vert Tendresse (it's the top center shade in the palette) in the corner of the eye.

Next I added the coral shade in the palette across the rest of the lid and Canary Chic under the brow bone.

With a liner brush, I added Blue Teal as a bottom liner (it's the shade on the upper right). I added two layers to get a really rich color. I normally wouldn't wear such a thick line...but I was feeling frisky...or something. haha.
I had to add Lancome's Le Stylo WP liner on the bottom and their Liner Design on the top. (Le Stylo WP is a creamy roll-up pencil and Liner Design is a pot cream liner).
I added a little bit of the dark brown shade in the palette (it's called Kissed By Gold and it's the bottom right shade). I didn't use very much because I wanted to use just enough to blend the whole look together.
The mascara application is a lengthy one that I promise to break down in its entirety one day...but the steps are: 1. Oscillation Powerbooster, 2. Oscillation mascara, 3. Definicils, and Hypnose Drama. Yes, all of these steps are necessary. Lashes don't lie! ;)

As you can tell, I didn't go crazy with blending. But I love the way this look turned out!

Thanks for reading!!!!!

"Dark Chocolate" makeup

This was not the original intention that I had in mind when I started this makeup look...but we all know that I am a major fan of the smokey eye. It's just so beautiful!

Of course, most of the products I used are limited edition eyeshadows that I have forever...but I will list the products that are current!

Obviously, before mascara is added...
All of the eyeshadows are l.e. Lancome shadows except the crease. It's a fairly new product to Lancome. Its texture is like a creamy-powder. It's called Color Design Infinite 24H in 602 Forever Noir. I applied with my finger to make the blending easier, then I took a blending brush to blend out the color even more!
The bottom eyeliner is Lancome's Le Stylo WP in Noir. The top eyeliner is Lancome's Liner Design in 601 Black Fishnets. (My typical daily go-to liner combo).
As you can tell, my contacts were really bothering me that night!

Mascara is my favorite thing ever! All Lancome. 3 part series. I will write a blog on my mascara routine in detail one day...but for now: it's Oscillation Powerbooster, Oscillation mascara, and then Hypnose Drama to seal the deal!
The lips before I added the metallic brown eyeshadow in the center. This beautiful black shade is Lime Crime's Styletto.

The whole look before it was turned officially into "Dark Chocolate."
The shade that I used is obviously a medium-brown metallic shade. I put it on with my ring finger and blended it slightly. I really like the way it turned out, personally.
Dark Chocolate completed!

In this lighting I think that you can tell what the brown looks like better overall than you can in the previous pictures.

Leopard makeup

Here's another look that I was toying around with for a model-- Leopard-inspired! She wants Leopard eyes with a dark lip...but I wanted to do the lips too...just for fun!
For the base of the eyeshadow I used Nyx's French Fries as the eyeshadow base on the lid. Then I used Lancome eyeshadows in a limited edition muted gold shade and Guest List in lightly in the crease. The spots were created using Lancome's artliner in Noir and Brown. Then to make some of the spots "pop" I added a little bit of Lime Crime's unliner in Rhyme to them. I also lined the upper lid with Lime Crime's Quill.

The lips were created almost exactly the same way except the base of the leopard is Lime Crime's Carousel gloss in Golden Ticket.

Now: a billion lip pics! Haha! Once again, sorry for the image quality...these pictures were taken one of the nights that my camera wouldn't start so these were taken with my Macbook Pro!

Before I extended the leopard spots out to the edge of the eyebrow.

As you can tell, I was too lazy to add any foundation or powder...oh, well.
